The Product Engineer is responsible for ensuring technical accuracy and compliance of purchased components and materials used in the final product. This role bridges Engineering and Procurement by validating Bills of Materials (BOMs), confirming correct part usage against CAD designs (Onshape), supporting supplier technical development, and translating technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications for the purchasing team. The Product Engineer plays a key role in preventing errors, rework, and compliance issues in sourcing and manufacturing.
