Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within the Engineering department for a Product Engineer, reporting to the Product Engineering Team Leader. 
This role offers a chance to develop a comprehensive understanding of our Engineering processes and make a significant impact on our operations within Howmet Exeter. 
Purpose: 
To develop, implement and maintain best practice through all product engineering activities.
To reduce process related scrap and rework.
To technically support production of high- quality castings to customers’ requirements
Achieve cost effective production of components / Processes and qualifications
Manage programmes and execute engineering project assignments.
Key responsibilities:
Ability to apply comprehensive understanding of production planning, control and basic manufacturing systems.
Proficiency in using CAE tools for CNC machining, CAD, and 3D modelling.
