**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in consumer electronic product design, manufacturing processes, tooling, and Design for Excellence (DFx) for mass production.
+ Experience working with suppliers and Joint Development Manufacturer (JDM) partners on mechanical/optical products from NPI to high-volume production.
+ Experience working with at least one CAD program for mechanical design and simulation (ex. NX, SolidWorks, etc.).
