Job Summary

Responsible for UCB Japan's purchasing activities, especially indirect procurement operations.

Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities

 Lead or support the day-to-day operations of Source to Pay (S2P) as the first tier of contact for both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
 Implement, apply and ensure compliance with purchasing processes (both transactional and procurement processes) based on current and future UCB Global Purchasing Principles and Guidelines, considering relevant country-specific commercial, statutory and tax laws.
 Develop country procurement plans based on the procurement strategies defined by the Global Category Manager, optimize cost effectiveness and negotiate local purchasing agreements in line with country-specific business, legal and financial requirements.
