Procurement Associate

**Description**

 **SAIC** is seeking a **Procurement Associate** to provide support for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for multiple programs in **Middletown, RI** .

**Job Duties:**

+ Supporting procurements and property management of Government material at SAIC
+ Source, negotiate and purchase IT Hardware and software, fabricated parts, machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies and incidental services necessary for operation of an organization or program
+ Interface with vendors to obtain quotes; process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
+ Update Excel spreadsheets with relevant information; kitting and tracking inventory; interface with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates
+ Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives
