Job Description
We are seeking a Process Technician to support our surface mount technology production on the 2nd shift. This role involves operating, monitoring, and performing basic troubleshooting on equipment to ensure quality output, throughput, and adherence to customer and IPC standards.
Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate process line equipment.

+ Perform first-piece checks and ongoing in-process monitoring to ensure builds meet requirements.

+ Monitor machine alarms, correct minor stoppages, and keep the line running efficiently.

+ Verify that reflow profiles are selected and running per work instructions as assigned.

+ Follow work instructions, travelers/routers, and visual aids to ensure build accuracy.

+ Inspect boards for obvious defects such as missing or misaligned components, solder issues, polarity, and damage, and escalate concerns as necessary.
