Process Safety Engineer

We are currently looking for a Process Safety Engineer for our client, a global battery organisation designing, developing, and manufacturing high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries. This role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant and efficient design across engineering programmes, working closely with internal teams to embed best practice, manage risk and drive a strong culture of process safety throughout project delivery. The Process Safety Engineer will: Coordinate and provide expert technical support in process safety areas e.g. ATEX/DSEAR risk assessment, hazardous area classification, safe handling of combustible dusts, control of electrostatic hazards. Support compliance activities including COMAH and other applicable consents. Review specifications, design, and supply of equipment to ensure compliance with safety, permitting, and company procedures.
