Process Improvement Specialist

Powell is a manufacturer of switchgear and other electrical equipment. We are currently hiring a Process Improvement Specialist at our Southeast Houston manufacturing facility.

Position Summary

As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting fab or assembly activities.

Essential Responsibilities

+ Support fab or assembly activities such as productivity, quality, and execution of fabrication or assembly processes.

+ Improvement initiatives assigned to fabrication or assembly operation processes.

+ Initiatives as assigned by Manufacturing Engineering.

+ Daily responsibilities:

+ Product Consulting – Identify issues with processes and fixtures, perform root cause analysis, propose solutions and sustainment plan(s) and advise ME and leadership of findings and recommended solutions.

+ Support leadership and ME with the production of fabricated steel parts. (fabrication only) ...
