Process Improvement Engineer

About the company/role: Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business based in Wetherill Park, supplying ready-to-eat crumb and biscuit products to major customers.
 
They are seeking a hands-on Process Improvement Engineer to stabilise and optimise their biscuit manufacturing line. This is a full-time, 6-month onsite contract, focused solely on driving measurable improvements across throughput, quality, waste reduction, GMP compliance and operator capability.
 
This role has strong leadership backing and the potential to convert to permanent depending on project success.
 
Duties:

• Conduct deep-dive process mapping and loss analysis across the full biscuit line
• Identify bottlenecks, reliability gaps and root causes of waste
• Improve equipment uptime (MTBF/MTTR) in collaboration with Maintenance
• Validate and reset process control parameters (oven profiles, dough, bake time...
