Process Engineer - Whitby

* Play a key role in leading process development and overseeing daily injection molding operations

* Be instrumental in the successful launch of new molds

* Establish robust and efficient processes, supporting accurate quoting and driving continuous improvement across the company’s molding operations 

* Injection Molding Process Development

- Establish, document, and optimize molding process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) for new and existing tools

- Conduct DOE and scientific molding studies to enhance quality, reduce scrap, and improve efficiency

- Lead first-off and validation runs for new molds; support PPAP and capability studies in collaboration with Quality

- Troubleshoot process issues such as warpage, short shots, and inconsistent cycle times to ensure stable production

* Tooling & Mold Review

- Determine machine tonnage, clamp force, and shot size requirements for each part / tool at quotation stage...
