What youll be doing Develop PFDs and P&IDs Develop control philosophies Compile mass and energy balances for process design purposes Assist with commissioning and plant handover Design and test new processes and process upgrades Ensure developed processes comply with safety and quality standards Use and develop process simulation software to optimize, troubleshoot, and reduce costs Collect and analyze data to improve and modify existing systems Oversee the process scope during construction of new plants Purchase and install equipment where required and within competency Apply scientific engineering principles (momentum, heat transfer, magnitude, etc.) Consult on plant operations and performance improvement Develop best practice procedures and manuals for standard equipment Assist in developing standard operating instructions and design procedures Investigate and troubleshoot plant and process problems Conduct plant/process monitoring and reporting Schedule and coordinate work to tight ...
