Job Description

Role Purpose

Purpose of the Position:


Support the CONTROLS engineering leaders to implement process electrical system strategy, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions for the hot-end process in CGI (Corning Glass Innovation).

  • Support development, design, and execution on CONTROLS Electrical system to achieve reliability, stability & sustainability requirements.

  • Able to work with “process” and Controls Technology communities to define adequate process electrical system architecture and controls loop design.

  • Support projects in terms of process electrical engineering.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of, develop, and establish new core capabilities in the electrical field, including preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical equipment, control systems, and SCR, VFD, among others.
