Process Control Engineer at St Barbara

Join St Barbara as a Process Control Engineer, supporting Atlantic Operations in Nova Scotia. This full-time role focuses on safety, programming PLCs, and improving plant performance.

This position reports to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at the Touquoy mine site, located an hour northeast of Halifax. As a licensed engineer, you will identify safety issues, apply corporate regulations, and program SCADA/HMI systems. Collaborating effectively with your team, you will address technical challenges and enhance plant processes through innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities: • Apply regulations and site standards to maintenance tasks • Program PLCs and SCADA/HMI systems for operations • Improve plant performance via new technology implementation • Provide diagnostic data for timely repairs • Offer technical specifications and drawings to teams
