Probationary Teacher Assistant

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Probationary Teacher Assistant. The successful candidate will need to:


+ Strong emphasis on interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with students, teachers, and administrators;

+ Demonstrated ability as a self-starter in assisting to determine and meet students’ needs;

+ An awareness on how a student’s positive self-esteem will affect their academic, social, and emotional development;

+ Experience and understanding of differentiated and blended learning;

+ Experience and willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs;

+ Exceptional communication skills, collaborative, hardworking and nurturing;

+ Experience administering test modifications according to IEP and 504 plans;
