The RN assumes overall responsibility for the medical component of the Hospice program, including providing oversight of physician services. Supervises all physician employees and those under contract to the Hospice. If the attending physician is unavailable, the medical director, contracted physician, and/or Hospice physician employee is responsible for meeting the medical needs of the patient.
