Our client is seeking a Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their reputable and successful team in Birmingham.

Essential responsibilities

• Preparation of wills and trusts
• Preparation of Probate Applications
• LPAs
• Applications to the Court of Protection and advising elderly and vulnerable clients
• Contentious and non-contentious probate
• Deed of variations and gifts
• Administration of estates (small/large) and trusts
• Dealing with queries corresponding with solicitors, Probate Registry, Land Registry, OPG and other 3rd party companies as appropriate to each case

Desirable Responsibilities

• Advising on trusts for pension and life insurance policies
• Advising on tax matters with emphasis on Inheritance Tax mitigation
• Advising clients with regard to elderly issues
