Job objectives and responsibilities

This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in reducing reoffending by supporting behaviour change in prisoners. At HMP Millsike, you'll work in a vibrant environment focused on rehabilitation, restoration, and resettlement through a risk‑informed approach.

Based in the Offender Management Unit (OMU), you'll handle all aspects of a prisoner's case, including risk management, parole applications, and sentence planning. As a Non‑operational Prison Offender Manager (POM), you'll manage and assess low to medium‑risk prisoners, creating and evaluating their sentence plans to reduce reoffending.
