Principal Property Surveyor

To develop and manage a high quality, efficient and effective Professional Quantity Surveying Service as directed by the Service Manager Property, Estates & Assets all in accordance with the needs and priorities of the Council, relative to work commissions for internal Clients. To lead and develop the Quantity Surveying Group including Clerk of Works in all aspects of management delegated by the, Service Manager Property, Estates & Assets including staff resourcing, delegation of work and supervision of staff. To perform all tasks relative to a Professional Quantity Surveyor and take responsibility for cost aspects of all Capital and Revenue projects for Council Departments. To ensure the timeous provision of appropriate information to the Service Manager Property, Estates & Assets and to Clients and Members on matters of legitimate concern.
