Role Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Projects Metallurgy, the Principal Metallurgist provides technical leadership in extractive metallurgy, delivering deep expertise that provides high-quality metallurgical direction, strengthens geo‑metallurgical models, and enhances Teck's broader technical capabilities.

The position includes leading all aspects of metallurgical and mineral processing test programs, both laboratory and plant-based, as well as managing technical staff and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality metallurgical outputs that support Teck's operations.
