Principal Lunchtime Supervisor - Bearwood Primary School

Position Overview

Bearwood Primary is looking for a self‑motivated and enthusiastic person to lead a team of lunch supervisors, ensuring lunchtimes run effectively and are a positive experience for all children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of lunch supervisors during school terms.
• Ensure that lunchtimes run smoothly and safely.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all children.
• Co‑operate with staff, headteacher and volunteers to support child welfare.
• Conduct or facilitate safeguarding checks and comply with DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience working with children, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and DBS procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English (essential).
