Principal Geotechnical Engineer (Napier, Taupō or Gisborne)

This key role provides technical direction, strengthens client relationships, and helps grow geotechnical capability across the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex geotechnical projects from investigation through to design and construction observation
• Provide expert technical advice across areas such as:
  • Roads and infrastructure
  • Landslides and slope stability
  • River scour
  • Residential and commercial foundations
• Conduct and oversee site investigations, analysis, reporting and design
• Undertake peer reviews and ensure compliance with NZ standards and industry best practice
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth
• Lead or contribute to proposals, bids and work programmes
