Principal Designer

We are currently seeking an experienced CDM 2015 Principal Designer with a design background in the Construction industry. This is a full time role and can be based from any of our seven studios in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Galashiels, Inverness, Ardgay, Oxford or London.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing Principal Designer Services for a range of complex Construction projects.
• Advising staff who provide Principal Designer Services on smaller Construction Projects.
• Mentoring staff on carrying out their Designer and/or Principal Designer role under CDM 2015.
• Managing overview of Principal Designer Services with the CDM Team.
• Providing advice to the business on internal Health and Safety Matters.
• Preparing and providing CPD sessions for staff on Health and Safety Matters.
• Creating and updating practice CDM resources.
• Working with BIM to further develop CDM BIM resources.
