Principal Design Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Design Engineer with expertise in temporary works and scaffold design . Based in Watford , you will lead the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions on major civil infrastructure projects.

What you will need

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or actively working towards it.
• Proven experience in scaffold and temporary works design , with strong knowledge of TG20:21, SG4:22, BS EN 12811 .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g. STAAD Pro, Tekla Tedds).
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, CDM regulations , and site constraints.
