Principal Building Control Surveyor

We are recruiting an Interim Principal Building Control Surveyor for a leading Social Housing provider based in Essex, on a 3-month contract. As an InterimPrincipal Building ControlSurveyor, you will be responsible for supportof the delivery of our Building Control team through undertaking assessing a range of Building Control applications suitable to your accreditation. Whats on offer: Rate: £70-75 per hour (inside of IR35 and through umbrella) Contract: 3-month interim assignment (potential for extension) Working pattern: Full-time (3740 hours per week) This role will require you to work out of the office 1 day a week and travel around the area 2 days a week Key responsibilities include: Carry out site inspections and plan checking (min 2 days on site per week) Attend to dangerous structures Carry outenforcement of The Building Regulations and Building Act as necessary Supervise senior, junior surveyors and admin staff Deputise for the Building Control Manager when required Assist th...
