Principal Aquatic Ecologist - Glasgow

Permanent, Full Time | £50,000-£60,000 DOE + Benefits

What You'll Do

Lead and deliver complex aquatic field surveys: macroinvertebrates, macrophytes, fish (electrofishing, netting, translocations)

Conduct water quality, hydrology and habitat assessments

Prepare and review technical reports and impact assessments (WFD, HRA, EcIA)

Manage medium-scale projects: budgets, timelines and client relationships

Mentor and develop junior ecologists

Contribute to restoration, R&D and wider research initiatives
