Position: Principal Advisor Technical (PMSP)

This is a senior technical specialist role focused on supporting the delivery of maritime safety initiatives across the Pacific. The role is a fixed-term contract of 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing expert technical advice across maritime safety and environmental protection
• Designing and assuring technical solutions and initiatives
• Ensuring approaches align with international standards and best practice
• Advising on procurement and deployment of equipment and services
• Translating complex regulatory and technical requirements into practical solutions
• Acting as a key technical interface with partners when required
• Supporting continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and building capability
