Primary Teacher (SEND)

West Midlands/ temporary / £155 - 200 per day

Position Overview

Full-time maternity cover for a primary teacher (SEND) at a SEND provision in the centre of Wolverhampton.

Responsibilities

The successful Primary Teacher (SEND) will be expected to confidently manage the classroom from day one, supporting pupils with mild to complex learning needs through engaging and differentiated lessons. The role also includes additional planning and resourcing time, allocated PPA time, and two afterschool meetings per week until 4pm.

Qualifications

• QTS
• Experience working with children with mild to complex learning needs
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging differentiated lessons
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
