Position Overview

Position Type: Temporary (Roving Paramedic) – Closing Date: . Located in Central Alberta, the role requires immediate treatment and transportation of sick and injured individuals to appropriate medical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personal knowledge and skills in accordance with the Alberta Occupational Competency Profile (AOCP) to deliver optimum patient care.
• Safely operate MHS‑West vehicles per the Health and Safety Manual, Operational Guidelines, and all provincial and federal regulations.
• Ensure vehicles are stocked and maintained in a state of readiness at all times.
• Work in hazardous environments to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
• Collaborate with outside agencies as a team to coordinate efforts on behalf of the patient.
• Document all patient care, assessments, and skills in the patient care report (ePCR) promptly and legibly.
