PRIMARK Transport Manager Torija (Guadalajara)

Purpose of role

The management of all mainland Europe site transport operations ensuring proactive, cost efficient, safe and service focussed operations and customer services.

Position details

Reports to: Head of Logistics

Based: Torija (with travel)

Key responsibilities

• Provide day to day operational management and coordination of all European store deliveries.
• Lead, manage and mentor team members.
• Analyse weekly and daily volumes to ensure the most cost-effective transport solution is executed.
• Interpret, model and review operational plans and outputs.
• Ensure haulier compliance (Health and Safety, legal, process and service levels) is actively managed through audit and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to use alternative modes of transport.
• Provide weekly and periodical reporting of KPIs including cost, compliance, load fill, empty running, round trip or single trip, kilom...
