**Job Overview**

*Start machines, monitor their operations and record operational data

*Set-up, operate stamping presses

*Load work pieces into machines

*Install, align and lock specified dies and coil material or other fixtures in press and feed system

*Test and adjust machine speeds or actions according to product specifications

*Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges and calipers

*Examine completed work pieces for defects such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws
