Press Operator (Day shift)

Extrusion Press Operator Day Shift (7am-3pm) Mon-Sat 8-10 hour shifts, 6 days a week Must be able to commute to both locations (Garden City & Livonia) if needed.  •    Revise schedule and print work orders. •    Verify that dies and temperature(s) used in the die oven are correct. •    Operates press and log furnace. •    Check the dimensions of extrusions with measuring tools and document findings. •    Stretches extrusions, as needed. •    Enters production data in Epics.

This position requires:

• punctuality and excellent attendance, with physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, and extreme temperatures....
