Preschool Teacher/Center Director: Head Start Head Start (https://www.ofoinc.org/find-program/home-based-and-preschool-programs122/) is seeking a creative, organized individual to lead a preschool teaching team and oversee operations of a single-classroom center.



As Teacher/Center Director you will:


+ Develop, coordinate, and implement daily lesson plans, classroom activities, field trips, and special events

+ Foster a welcoming and safe learning environment, that promotes overall child development and encourages parents to be active participants in their child’s education

+ Hire, supervise, and schedule center staff to ensure proper adult:child ratios and smooth program operation

+ Maintain an inventory of center materials and supplies, initiate purchases, and coordinate facility improvements

+ Assist Head Start management in ensuring compliance with day care licensing and Head Start Performance Standards
