Our Preparation Team play an important role within the kitchen, ensuring ingredients are prepared accurately, safely and to the high standards Bigham’s is known for.

The team focus on preparing fresh ingredients so they are ready for the next stage of production, helping our wider kitchen teams deliver great food every day.

Role Responsibility

As a Preparation Team Member , you will be responsible for:

• Weighing large volumes of ingredients
• Hand‑cutting or slicing fresh ingredients, including fish and meat
• Preparing ingredients in line with set specifications and standardsMaintaining high hygiene standards and a clean, tidy workspace
• Completing food preparation records and logs
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure Bigham’s standards are met
• Completing effective and accurate shift handovers
