Prep Technician

Vertu Land Rover Chesterfield is expanding, and we’re looking for a Prep Technician to join our supportive and forward‑thinking team.

We offer a basic salary between £28,000 and £35,000, based on a 40‑hour working week, with Saturdays paid as overtime, plus the opportunity to earn an additional over-performance bonus.

Technicians holding a nationally recognised Level 3 Light Vehicle qualification may start at JLR Level 3.

What you’ll do

• Completing high‑quality pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
• Following manufacturer guidelines and working to agreed timeframes
• Maintaining strong productivity levels
• Delivering friendly, transparent and reliable customer service
• Ensuring first‑time fixes and consistently high workmanship
