The Role

• Producing high‑accuracy sheet‑metal parts through bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly and deburring
• Working with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and Inconel, maintaining tight tolerances throughout
• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Setting and operating a range of equipment including fly press, brake press and linisher
• Checking jigs, fixtures and tooling
• Hand‑forming prototype panels and components from flat sheet
• Carrying out part of the finishing process deburring, drilling, trimming, filing and grinding
• Conducting visual checks and dimensional inspection to ensure quality standards are met
