Pre-Reg Pre-Cert Specialist

Overview

The Pre-Reg/Pre-Cert Specialist identifies patients who qualify for pre-registration, including all new and returning patients. This role obtains accurate demographic and insurance information and enters it into the registration system. The position handles pre-service collections and documentation when applicable and is responsible for verification and pre-certification, notification, and authorization of all admissions and/or outpatient visits. For sponsored admissions, the specialist will contact the patient’s employer and/or insurance company to verify coverage and benefits, determine benefit level, patient liability, and billing address.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
