PQT Technician

Reporting to the PQT Manager, the PQT Techncian will operate proprietary field joint coating equipment in the execution of PQT’s, under the guidance of a PQT Supervisor, in line with the client’s project requirements. CRC Field Joint Coating Technicians are employed to service, maintain and repair a wide range of field joint coating equipment. It is the responsibility of the FJC Technician to apply the coating system as directed by the FJC Supervisor; the FJC Technician will be responsible for making sure that the applied coating system is in line with the project ITP. The coating technician will also make sure that their equipment and work area is clean and safe. The equipment consists of but is not limited to induction heating, cleaning and coating application apparatus.
