Job Description

Job Title: Powerplant Engineer
Department: Engineering
Reports To: Director of Engineering
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provide aircraft engineering analysis , configuration control, and obtaining engine modification and repair data
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure that approved data is used in the development of EOs and EAs that are used for maintenance, repair, and modification of fleet engines and appliances.
Provide engine shop support to determine proper build specifications, thus enhancing dispatch reliability in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Obtain regulatory approval when required for modifications / repairs performed on Kalitta Air powerplants and components.
Interface with the Director of Powerplant Division and the CASS EHM Analyst in order to assist in developing corrective action plans based on EC...
