Powerline Worker

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain overhead and underground Cable/Fiber lines.
• Troubleshooting service interruptions, splicing cables to repair damage, and replacing outdated equipment.
• Using specialized tools (e.g., OTDR, splicing machines) to test signal strength, performance, and integrity of fiber/coax cables.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members on installation projects.

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience Level: No experience required; training will be provided.
• Skills and Competencies: Basic troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.
• Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
