Power Systems Engineer

Job Description Summary

The North and South Europe Grid System Integration (GSI) team delivers a wide range of high‑voltage transmission projects, including new generation and grid stability projects. We are looking for a Power Systems Studies Engineer to lead concept studies at the tender stage, develop solutions that satisfy client needs and Grid Code requirements, manage external resources, validate study outputs, and serve as the main technical interface to the client.

Responsibilities

Tender Stage

• Understand the customer’s power system requirements, regulatory constraints, and standards.
• Develop the initial system architecture and advise the customer on optimisation opportunities.
• Perform provisional load‑flow studies using PowerFactory, DIgSILENT, or similar.
• Conduct provisional RAM studies (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) to ensure proposed solutions meet client expectations. <...
