Power Market Analyst

Overview

The Fundamentals team provides power price forecasts ranging from day‑ahead to long‑term horizons (up to 35 years). This position is for a Short/Medium term analyst covering from day‑ahead to 2 years‑ahead. It is a large and highly collaborative team, offering strong learning and development opportunities across multiple disciplines. The team combines expertise in power market fundamentals, economics, statistics, machine learning, modelling, weather forecasting, and IT.

We work closely with traders, business developers, deal structurers, and quants to support both trading activities and long‑term investment decisions, providing broad exposure to commercial decision‑making and market dynamics. We also collaborate with gas desks, sharing insights, forecasts, and methodologies to ensure a consistent cross‑commodity view.
