Imperium Commodity Search is confidentially retained by a small energy trading house business in Lugano, seeking to recruit a junior‑mid level power and gas trader to join their growing front‑office team.

You will join an experienced, pragmatic team from majors, boutiques and power‑gas businesses, helping the firm expand across the European market in power and gas. The role primarily focuses on hedging customer demand along the curve and will merge into a mixed‑utility, short‑term power trading desk over time as the unit expands. There will be a strong focus on the Italian power and gas market, so proficiency in Italian is preferred. Lugano is beautiful but has few power‑gas trading businesses; relocation is likely and supported.
