An exciting opportunity has become available for Power Electronics Engineer to work in Bern, Switzerland, for a market leader in the IGBT space. This client has pioneered new power topologies and algorithms which have transformed the power supply industry.

The Power Electronics Engineer will join a team of experts whose focus is on the product definition of new products, creating value for customers. Overall, the aspects of the role will include :

• Design of gate driver solutions
• Analog / Digital Electronics
• Test and validate new topologies
• Undertake development of IC-based systems

The Power Electronics Engineer will have a degree in electronics or electrical engineering and a proven background in the following :

• Common power conversation topologies such as flyback or half-bridge.
• Control loop theory
• Magnetics knowledge
• Software and simulations tools
