Pottery Instructor - Part-Time

GENERAL PURPOSE

Responsible for the implementation of pottery and ceramics activities for all ages.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with experience in pottery and ceramics preferred. Must have good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Plan specific pottery and/or ceramics projects.


2. Set up equipment and clean up after class.


3. Instruct and supervise participants.


4. Clean and organize supplies.


5. Follow kiln firing schedule and communicate firing needs with Lead Pottery Instructor.


6. Report supply needs to Lead Pottery Instructor.


7. Load and empty kiln as needed.
