Postdoctoral Researcher in the area of Digital Electronics, microelectronics and bioelectronics

The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) has opened one full time (100%) position for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the area of Digital Electronics, microelectronics and bioelectronics, at within the Department of Innovative Technologies (DTI), located in Lugano. The degree of employment is 80% - 100%, with a contract starting on 01.11.2026, or on a mutually agreed date.

Duties and responsibilities

The position is embedded within ISEAs research and development activities and is focused on the design of digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits, with particular emphasis on the development of ASICs and FPGA-based systems. 

The selected candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of SPAD (Single Photon Avalanche Diode) sensors for the development of photon detectors intended for scientific applications.
