The Department of Neuroscience has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.

Join a cutting‑edge NHMRC‑funded translational research program investigating the neurobiology of impulsive behaviour and its relevance to addiction and psychiatric disorders.

The role offers the opportunity to work within a growing and highly team‑oriented team, contributing to multidisciplinary preclinical studies that combine behavioural neuroscience, neuroimaging and molecular approaches to understand how glial and neuronal interactions shape impulsive behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver in vivo rodent studies, including behavioural testing, surgical procedures, tissue collection and downstream analyses.
• Implement, optimise and refine experimental techniques across the program.
