Job Description
Location: Maidenhead Delivery Office, SL6 1AA
Job type: Permanent contract
Salary: £13.68 per hour (paid monthly) and paid overtime available
Working hours: 32 hours per week, 5 days in 7, rotating schedule. Shift options 08:30‑14:30 or 14:30‑20:30. Sunday shifts (Mon‑Sun) from 11:00‑19:00 at the Maidenhead Delivery Office.
Note: Roles offering between 35‑37 hours per week are listed as full‑time. Any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the contract.
What you'll do
- Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
- Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
- Build relationships with customers
- Work outdoors in all weathers
- Deliver letters and high volumes of parcels, including exam results, birthday cards, business orders, and other important items
- Handle election materials and other regulated items in line with Royal Mail standards
