The Post-doctoral Fellow/Research Assistant positions are available in the following technical areas: waterhammer/hydraulic transient modelling; optimization; machine learning/AI; and acoustics/acoustic metamaterials.

The appointees will be working on various R&D innovation & technology projects. Further details about the projects and tasks will be discussed during interview sessions. They will be working in a diverse environment, where students, researchers and engineers are working together to develop innovative technologies to assure water resources sustainability. Also, you will have many opportunities to attend Continuing Professional Development modules (including seminars, conferences, short courses, workshops, training certificates). Several tasks in the R&D projects also require non-civil engineering expertise, which includes computer science engineering, mechanical/robotics engineering, physics and mathematics.
