Position Overview

The Center for Interacting Urban Networks (CITIES) at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to interdisciplinary research focused on the Mobility theme. The role is closely linked to NYUAD’s Excellence 2030 Strategic Framework Urban Systems impact area and will involve research on monitoring, modeling, and controlling the operations of multimodal transportation systems, new vehicle technologies, and urban mobility research at the intersection of traffic flow theory and data science, as well as the impact of cybersecurity on transportation systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on the above mobility topics and collaborate with researchers from other CITIES themes such as Fairness and Uncertainty;
• Contribute to a comprehensive understanding of urban systems;
• Lead innovative projects and produce scholarly outputs.
