Overview
The Center for Genomics and Systems Biology (CGSB) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in the Interdisciplinary Collaboration Program. The appointment spans oceanography, ecology, and mathematics. The position is based at NYU Abu Dhabi, starting September 1, 2025 for two years, renewable depending on funding, under the supervision of Professor Shady Amin (Marine Microbiomics Lab) and Professor Francesco Paparella. Candidates with a strong marine microbiology background are encouraged, especially those with experience in chemostats, culturing of phytoplankton and/or bacteria. Strong bioinformatics skills and experience with data analysis in Python or R are required. Applicants should have a strong publication record and the ability to conduct independent high-quality research. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in marine biology, oceanography, computational biology, or a related field at the time of appointment. <...
